Herbaceous perennials are grown primarily for their colorful flowers and foliage, but die back to the ground each fall. Unlike annuals, which die after each season, perennials grow back from the roots each spring. Given the right location and proper care, these can be effectively used in beds, borders, cutting gardens, water edge settings and naturalization. We have a huge selection from A-Z for sun or shade.

 Our Annuals department delivers the pop of color to make your home beautiful. We grow all of our own annuals right here in McHenry. And what we don’t grow ourselves, comes from growers we have trusted for years. Whether you’re looking for the classics like pansies, marigolds, impatiens, petunias or something more exotic, we have a wide selection of annuals to suit anyone’s taste. We have a great selection of hanging baskets, patio planters, tropicals and other seasonal plants that will add something unique and beautiful to your home.  

We’ve been supplying quality nursery stock, plants, supplies and services to the McHenry area for over 50 years. Our professional staff is always available to answer any planting questions you may have…
